| A Big Break for Jay Blaze, the Southlands Next Sexy HOT Rap Artist By Jeanine Horowitz Adjacent to the sandy beach of Malibu, California, KIIS FM 102.7 and Taco Bell hosted a Spring Break Party to give artists, singers and bands in the Southland a chance at a ‘Big Break.” On Saturday, March 8th, 2008, at the Malibu Inn, the showcase featured a fresh face in music, the rap artist, Jay Blaze, who sent a different message from the stereotypical baggy clothes and loud bling that conveys the rap industry today. Instead, Jay Blaze, appeared on stage with a cosmopolitan image, wearing a designer t-shirt and jeans that complimented his lean 6’2 stature. Wearing a pair of expensive Chanel sunglasses and a Cartier watch, the rap artist sold the crowd performing songs from his latest album “Tunnel Vision, commencing with the single “Fly as a MF,” a hit sure to climb the Billboard Music Charts. Supporters for all the music finalists packed the Malibu Inn’s patio and restaurant areas and their cheers and hollers were captured on the 102.7 airwaves as Radio hosts, Jo-Jo on the Radio and Fat Daniel, aired segments of each of the finalists’ performances. The winner of the showcase wins 10K in cash and a chance to play at the Wango Tango Village Stage.
